I learned how to trust my decision making working with Gervase and that led to me making better choices.

In just three monthly 90-minute sessions with Gervase and her continuous ad-hoc coaching via Voxer — I experienced countless breakthroughs. Ok, well, if i do count them, maybe like 17 😍.

I met Gervase for the first time several years back at the Champagne Society. I briefly introduced myself, and secretly hoped one day I could speak at one of her future events. There are certain people you meet in life that feel almost magnetic, and G is one of those people for me.

Fast forward a few years later, and I was at a major crossroads in my life, and thought to reach out to her as I had heard she was a life coach (which at the time, I honestly didn’t really understand). I’ve seen a counselor since I was 19 and I wasn’t really sure how this would provide additional value to my life. Luckily, I listened to my gut, and reached out anyway.

To say that Gervase has been an integral part of my journey the last two years would be an understatement. When we started working together, I was in the process of making a major decision that would ultimately change the course of my life, as well as my entire family. Truth be told, I was hoping G would simply TELL me what she thought I should do, or at least what SHE would do in my situation. But if you’ve ever met the powerhouse that is Gervase, that’s not how she rolls. Every session I show up with my “stuff”, and G holds space to unpack it. She truly has a gift when it comes to holding space for others, in whatever way is needed. It’s (one) of my favorite things about her.

When I started my medical practice, I knew I wanted G to work with my team as we got to know each other and grew the business from the ground up. G played a huge role in helping us to mesh together as a team in those early days. She also taught me to think outside the box as a leader and business owner. The tools she gave me have played a huge role in my success (and my sanity) as I wade through my first year in business.

Two years into working with G, I am still very much the imperfect human I was when we met. Every month, I continue to bring my “stuff”, and G continues to show up and help me unpack it. I don’t ‘need’ the monthly coaching, but man, am I grateful that I get to do it. My personal, professional, and spiritual life are better for it.

And I can say with complete confidence, if your gut is telling you you’re ready to do the work, G is the girl for the job.

This program provided a beautiful combination of reality and spirituality. Gervase has a unique ability to bring both of these to each session and lesson; acknowledging that we are humans with hard emotions and real struggles, and also showing us that we are incredibly magical, intuitive, wild, and powerful. It is very obvious that Gervase does the work alongside her clients, rather than preaching a predetermined curriculum or cookie-cutter healing path. This, I think, is key to unlocking my own power and potential-seeing it in another woman activity doing the work, making mistakes, learning, growing, etc. This gives me permission to do the same and know that that's what the work IS, not some pie-in-the-sky perfection or magical place I'll somehow get to "one day." She shows us this mindset is possible here and now, and models how she is finding it within the throes of normal life. I must also say, she is an expert in diving right to the deeper source of ache, trauma, hurt, or wound. She isn't afraid to challenge me, to push me to look at my stuff differently, and move out of the comfort zones that kept me stuck in the first place.
