Body Grief with Jayne Mattingly

On the It’s All Me podcast, we’re all about embracing the “and” in our lives as modern women. On this week’s episode, I invited Jayne Mattingly, author and Body Coach, to share her story of embracing the “and” as she transitioned identities from a fully able-bodied woman to life in a disabled body, processing the cyclical stages of body grief, the deconstruction of internalized ableism, and her now interabled relationship.

Jayne is a former Eating Disorder Coach and therapist turned Body Coach who works with eating disorder recovery centers and trains coaches to work as part of a team in the recovery process. Jayne is also writing a book titled This is Body Grief, set to be released in 2025.
