WTF is up with Extracurriculars
Whether you are a mother, know a mother, or you’re influencing people's lives, you know how draining extracurriculars can be. As parents or caregivers, we may find ourselves exhausted from rushing the kids around to every practice known to mankind. As children, the pressure to be in everything or even be the best at something they don’t really care about could be crushing their creative spirit or motivation to participate. This is the line we walk as parents, feeling the pull to enroll them at a young age so they don’t “fall behind” but also wanting them to be able to express themselves, find their joy, and just be kids.
When G found herself beginning to unpack the “normalcy” of extracurriculars, digging into the nitty gritty questions - as she does so well - she came to realize how this topic spills over into our adult lives as well. And of course she couldn’t help but ask - WTF is up with that? Listen in to today’s episode and join G in radically changing the way that we view extracurriculars, not just for kids, but for grown ass women.
Rerooting and Revillaging in a Capitalist Suburbia with Becca Piastrelli
As modern-day women, it can be common to feel disconnected: from ourselves, our past, and our community. This feeling of disconnect can make it even more difficult to see through the heavy, winter seasons of life to the light at the other side. On today’s episode of the It’s All Me podcast, Gervase sits down with Becca Piastrelli, author of Root and Ritual, to discuss how capitalism and instant gratification have severed us from nature and our callings, how we can reconnect to ourselves and our inner knowing, and how we can be the village that many of us long for. If you have been feeling alone, feeling the pull to reroot into your sense of self, or wanting to reconnect with a sense of community, you’ll want to listen in!
G and Becca discuss:
[2:15] Suburbia, murder, and chickens
[7:04] Creating the life you want minus the BS excuses
[16:51] The systems that sever us from intuition and remembering ancestral practices
[28:08] Slow living and aligning your life with the seasons
[37:57] The absence of “the village” and the practice of revillaging and rewilding
[41:21] Becca’s advice on reconnecting in the midst of inner resistance
[45:30] Gervase’s calling to reroot into her lineage
[52:31] The next steps to revillaging
Roots Down, Wings Up: Tapping into Your Phoenix Frequency
Death. Rebirth. Burning it all down. Rising from ash. What does it all mean for your life? It means experiencing discomfort and undoing, undeniable clarity, and powerful transformations. On this episode of the It’s All Me podcast, G shares her own metaphorical death and rebirth experiences in her personal life and business. Listen in to hear how the Phoenix sessions were her answer to providing the most potent, transformational live experience possible to lead you through your own guided rebirth.
Why We Get Stuck Instead of “Reborn” + The Phoenix Sessions
This isn’t New Year, New Me. This is New Year; MORE me. In this solo episode, G is explaining why sometimes we get stuck in the metaphorical birth canal between our intentions for a new season of our lives and the manifestation of said intention. This episode is about zooming in on what happens in our own processes of rebirth and bringing awareness to some common culprits and the massive opportunity we have when what’s no longer aligned for us begins to die. Listen in so you can stop staying stuck and learn your power to move yourself THROUGH the messy, uncomfortable and unpredictable middle as your “Phoenix self.”
A Guided Grounding for the New Year + How to Discern Your Next Step Forward

My Mom and I Debate “The Feminine Mystique”
You contain multitudes. Wait, what does that mean? We know that the world is vast and beyond what our human brains can comprehend, and yet we take our identities, the essence of who we are, and we try to make it fit neatly into society’s little boxes. On this episode of the It’s All Me podcast, Gervase breaks down the natural paradox of our existence and why we should embrace it. Listen in to hear why she has made it her mission to stand for the multi-dimensional woman, and why embracing the It’s All Me mindset is critical to creating everything that you want in life.
You Are Your One
Somewhere along the line, popularity, belonging, and identity have become synonymous - but it’s all a lie. On today’s episode of the It’s All Me podcast, Gervase is dropping some insight into the mix, discussing how that belief is harmful to us, our kids, and our relationships. Grab your tea and join G on the couch as she shares how this has shown up in the lives of her clients and her personal life, and what she’s doing to break the cycle.
Moving a Client From “Or” Mindset to “And”
On today’s episode, Gervase discusses how to ditch the ‘or’ and embrace the ‘and’ in life while tending to your root needs as an empowered, modern woman. Listen in to hear how one of Gervase’s clients from the Inner Circle mastermind experienced a healing breakthrough around her either/or mindset, and learned how to reconnect with her needs.
Joy is a Really Good Reason
What is your relationship to joy? For a lot of modern women wearing multiple hats and feeling responsible for all sorts of projects and people, joy is the first thing they take off their list when life starts to feel too chaotic. On this episode of the It’s All Me podcast, Gervase talks about reconnecting to joy without the ‘shoulds’ and shame, why doing the work to get to joy is worth having tough conversations, and how joy can be a great motivator to lead the lives we desire. After all, joy is a really good reason to live a life we love.
Reprogramming doing it all for doing what matters most
When we decide we’re no longer available to do it all, it all shifts. When we trade doing everything for ONLY doing the things in our zone of genius, the result is freedom to finally focus on what’s actually important to you.
WTF is Up with Mom Triggers? | Episode 2 of WTF is Up Series
Personally, this back-to-school season was ripe with basic B mom triggers where I found myself in spirals of doubt. Why did I let the girls pick out their own clothes? Did everyone else bring supplies to the first event? Why am I so bad at this and other moms are so good? Remember that in this WTFness of modern motherhood, you can take your power back when you stop the self-judgment. It’s all an opportunity to remember that when you prioritize the things that matter to YOU as a parent, everything gets a LOT easier.
